Primary Health Care in Benitachell

A year ago a Primary Health Care Council was set up with representatives from all the different parts of the system:

• Receptionists
• Nurses
• Doctors
• Pharmacists
• Susanne Katzgrau as responsible councillor from Teulada-Moraira
• Isabel Garrido as responsible councillor from Benitachell
• Representatives of local associations in the two municipalities
• Margaret Hales as President of the European Union of Women Marina Alta was nominated from Benitachell. 

It has the aim of building a healthier community for everyone. The second session took part on 23 April at la Senieta

At the council there was a lively discussion of the health needs of this area and the resource available. Two small working groups have been set up to look at the issues in more detail. Benitachell is represented on both groups!
