WORKSHOP GET CONNECTED TO YOUR TOWN

Why do we do this workshop?

• We want to bring all the information about the municipality to the whole population, regardless of language or age.
• We want to break down digital and language barriers.
• We want to make sure that no one feels alone or isolated.
• We do all this with respect and affection towards our neighbours.

What are we going to to today?

• How to request a doctor's appointment online.
• How to use the WhatsApp Channel of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell's Council.
• Useful telephone numbers always at hand (we are offering a free fridge magnet).
• What services are offered by Social Services.
• Activities of the Association of Retired People and Pensioners.

New social projects

A) Espacio Amigo.

• "Espacio Amigo" is a project born through cooperation between neighbours Trudi van Dorp, Margaret Hales, Councillor Isabel Garrido and Civil Protection Benitachell . The Project has the intention of offering a happy, gentle and safe place to meet, interact, to learn a little about our community here and to enjoy the company of others. There will be volunteers from the community and a programme of activities and plenty of time to chat and have a cup of coffee and a biscuit! The venue is Edificio El Puig, beside the Lady Elizabeth School, probably on one Thursday morning every month. A trial run will be held in August with the official opening in September!  Transport can be arranged. More details will be given during the summer.

B) Friendly Cities for the Elderly People Project.

Translation

• This workshop will be translated into English and other languages if necessary.
• We want everyone to be able to understand and participate without difficulty.

• This is just the beginning of a closer, more human and connected Benitatxell.

HEADS UP: If you select the English language at the top right of the screen and get the message that your language is not supported, ignore the message and press Continue several times until the following screen is displayed

3. Enter your SIP card number and your date of birth:

4. Click on Request an appointment (Pedir Cita)

5. Click on Request Service (Seleccionar servicio):

6. Select the date and time and click on Request Appointment (Pedir Cita):
